ORIX USA and The ORIX Americas Miyauchi Charitable Foundation (“ORIX Americas Miyauchi Foundation”) seek to continue the service legacy of our parent company, Tokyo-based ORIX Corporation, by contributing to society beyond our everyday business activities and making a positive impact on the world.
This is accomplished by sponsoring a wide variety of initiatives to support charitable, scientific, literary, and educational undertakings in the United States, Japan, or other countries by making contributions of cash or property within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Code. Examples of the type of involvement the foundation seeks to be active in are: the support of a variety of educational, social and cultural programs, the offering of grants to student exchange programs, and the promotion of the development and learning of culture, arts, music and sports.
In 2014, the ORIX Americas Miyauchi Foundation, a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit corporation, was established at ORIX USA’s Dallas headquarters, separately from ORIX Corporation’s ORIX Miyauchi Foundation in Japan. Taking its name from Yoshihiko Miyauchi, the founder and Senior Chairman of ORIX Corporation, the organization aims to support causes that have the potential to leave a lasting impact on the world. It’s with support from ORIX Americas Miyauchi Foundation that other nonprofits, community members and charitable organizations are better poised to leave their mark on the world.
