Xianji Quan, CAIA, is Managing Director and Global Head of Official Institutions, and Head of Middle East and Asia (ex-Japan) within the Asset Management business of ORIX Corporation USA.
In this role, she leads global coverage of sovereign wealth funds, public pensions, and other large institutional investors. She also leads Middle East and Asia (ex-Japan) client coverage. Working closely with ORIX USA’s investment teams, Ms. Quan is responsible for originating and executing strategic partnerships, structuring institution-specific investment solutions, and leading capital formation across the firm’s private markets and credit platform.
Ms. Quan joined the firm in 2024 from BlackRock, where she led the New York-based Official Institutions Group.
Ms. Quan has more than 16 years of financial services experience, with a focus on global client management, fundraising, and strategic client solutions. At BlackRock, she was responsible for managing global sovereign wealth funds, national pension plans and multilateral organizations. Prior to BlackRock, Ms. Quan was one of the founding members of the APAC institutional client business at Manulife Asset Management based in Hong Kong, where she focused on insurance companies as well as official institutions in APAC. Ms. Quan started her career at ICAP in London as a Finance analyst.
Ms. Quan earned a BA from Sun Yat-sen University in China and a Master of Science from London School of Economics.
