Charles Friedberg is Managing Director, Strategic Initiatives at ORIX Corporation USA. Mr. Friedberg is based in New York and joined the firm in 2026 from Interchange Capital Partners where he was Chief Operating Officer.
Mr. Friedberg is a seasoned investment and wealth management executive with more than 30 years of experience building, scaling, and advising investment management businesses. Throughout his career, he has co-founded multiple private markets investment firms and led strategic, operational, and technology initiatives across the asset management industry.
Prior to ORIX USA, Charles was Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Mobilize Capital Partners, an impact investing firm focused on private credit, real estate, and infrastructure. Previously, he co-founded Argentem Creek Partners, serving as President and Chief Operating Officer of the emerging markets distressed debt and special situations firm. He also served as Managing Director of Angelo Gordon Advisors, the wealth management division of Angelo Gordon & Co.
Charles has additionally advised investment managers, independent RIAs, and multi-family offices on growth strategy, operational excellence, and technology modernization. He began his career at SEI Investments, where he contributed to the growth of the firm’s institutional and wealth management platforms.
He is a CFA charterholder and earned a BS in Finance from Lehigh University.
