Raviv Shtaingos, Head of Structured Credit at ORIX USA, recently spoke with Scott Carpenter at Bloomberg News for a story on the commercial real estate debt market. Raviv weighed in on the growing popularity of commercial real estate after a difficult period last year.
Speaking on market trajectory, Raviv said, “Borrowers have been holding out for an opportunity to refinance debt with short-term maturities and now they’re seizing on lower spreads to do it.”
