Calum Paterson is an Associate Director in the GP Solutions business at ORIX Corporation USA, focusing on originating, underwriting, and executing GP-led secondary transactions including NAV loans, GP financings, continuation funds, and fund finance. He joined the firm in 2025 and is based in Dallas.
Prior to ORIX USA, Mr. Paterson was a Vice President in the Primary Investments team at Adams Street, a global private markets investment manager, where he focused on the evaluation, due diligence and monitoring of buyout, growth, and venture fund investments. Mr. Paterson began his investment career with BMO Global Asset Management (EMEA) in their private equity team, where he focused on executing primary, secondary and co-investment transactions across Europe and North America.
Mr. Paterson holds an MSc (Econ) degree in Finance and Investment Management and an LLB (Hons) degree in Law, both from the University of Aberdeen. Mr. Paterson is a CFA® charterholder and is a member of the CFA Society of Dallas-Fort Worth.
