Haley Barron is Managing Director, Head of Accounting and Financial Reporting for ORIX Corporation USA. Ms. Barron is responsible for accounting of all balance sheet investments, technical accounting issues, financial reporting and Tax. Ms. Barron joined the firm in 2009 and is based in Dallas.
Ms. Barron has more than 20 years of experience in accounting and more than 17 years of experience specifically in financial services, with a focus on technical accounting, structuring considerations for acquisitions/divestitures, process improvement, and controls. Ms. Barron has been working in the accounting field in one capacity or another since high school. Since that time, and prior to joining ORIX Corporation USA, she has held various other positions, most notably as an auditor for Deloitte & Touche, LLP.
Ms. Barron is an alumnus of the University of Texas at Austin where she graduated with Honors earning a BBA and an MA in Professional Accountancy. Ms. Barron additionally earned the Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence at graduation. She is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Texas.
