Max Dobrushkin is currently a Managing Director and leads the REO division in the Real Estate Investment Strategies (REIS) group at ORIX USA. He oversees all underwriting, asset management, operations, dispositions and CapEx strategy for the REO division, which consists of approximately 3,500 Multifamily units valued at approximately $350 Million. Mr. Dobrushkin has been with ORIX USA’s subsidiary, Lument, since 2023, prior to the team’s transition to ORIX USA in 2025.
Prior to joining Lument (ORIX USA), Mr. Dobrushkin was a Vice President at Hudson Advisors (the wholly owned Asset Management and Underwriting arm of Lone Star Funds) where he spent ten years. During his tenure at Hudson Advisors, Mr. Dobrushkin was directly involved in the underwriting and asset management of over 15,000 multifamily units valued at over $4 Billion. Mr. Dobrushkin worked on Lone Star’s Value-Add and Opportunistic Real Estate Fund strategies where he had direct experience implementing a variety of Multifamily investment strategies including repositioning, renovation value-add, new construction lease-up, stabilization and distressed. Prior to joining Hudson Advisors, Mr. Dobrushkin was an Investment Analyst at Catamount Capital.
Mr. Dobrushkin holds a BS in Economics and a MS in Finance from the University of Texas at Dallas.
