Ramesh Dhanaraj is a Senior Director in the Credit Opportunities group at ORIX Corporation USA. He is responsible for originating, structuring, and executing private credit investments in the US middle-market. Mr. Dhanaraj has over 20 years of experience in finance and law including a focus in specialty finance. He joined the firm in 2022 and is based in New York.
Prior to joining ORIX USA, Mr. Dhanaraj was with Fortress Investment Group’s Credit team. Prior to that, Mr. Dhanaraj was an attorney at Sidley Austin LLP, where he focused on debt finance and private equity M&A. Before becoming an attorney, Mr. Dhanaraj worked as a venture capital investor and started his career as a technology investment banker at Roberson Stephens.
Mr. Dhanaraj holds a JD from Fordham University School of Law and a BBA from the University of Texas at Austin.
