Stan Koyanagi is General Counsel for ORIX Corporation USA and serves on the Board of Directors and is a member of the Executive and Investment Committees of ORIX USA. Mr. Koyanagi also has a senior role at ORIX Corporation, the parent company of ORIX USA, as Senior Managing Executive Officer, Global General Counsel, and a Member of the Board of Directors.
Prior to joining ORIX Corporation in 2013, he was Vice President and Associate General Counsel at KB HOME in Los Angeles, California. From 1997 to 2004 he served as Vice President and General Counsel for ORIX USA. Mr. Koyanagi started his career in private law practice as a partner at Graham & James LLP (now Squire Patton Boggs LLP).
Mr. Koyanagi holds a BS in Business Administration from the University of Southern California and a JD from Stanford University.
Mr. Koyanagi also serves on the Supervisory Board of ROBECO, an ORIX Group company headquartered in the Netherlands. In 2022, Mr. Koyanagi completed his tenure as a Board member of the U.S.-Japan Council (Japan), a non-profit organization dedicated to creating a stronger U.S.-Japan relationship.
