Tom Wiegand is Managing Director at ORIX Corporation USA’s Municipal & Infrastructure business, responsible for originating and underwriting high yield private credit special district and land development financings. He joined the firm in 2012 and is based in Dallas.
Mr. Wiegand has more than 25 years of experience across several asset classes and real estate disciplines, including acquisitions, financing, asset management and dispositions. Prior to joining ORIX USA, he served as a Partner with Champion Partners, primarily sourcing and managing office and warehouse properties throughout the Southwest. Before that, he was a Vice President and Partner with EFO Holdings, a private real estate investment fund. There, Mr. Wiegand originated, managed, and divested a multitude of real estate investments with operators and sponsors. He began his real estate career at Hines Interests.
Mr. Wiegand holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from Clarkson University and an MBA from The Wharton School.
