ORIX USA Appoints New Board Member

ORIX USA announced the appointment of Clint McDonnough to its board of directors, effective April 1. Now the Chairman of the Audit Committee, McDonnough steps into this rotating role to direct communication between ORIX USA’s internal audit function, independent accountants, management and board of directors.

The addition of McDonnough grows the company’s board of directors to eight members, with half of the group located in Tokyo where ORIX USA’s parent company, ORIX Corporation, is based. McDonnough brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having served 38 years for Ernst & Young before retiring last June as the office managing partner in Dallas. While there, he was responsible for leading the day-to-day practice operations for one of Ernst & Young’s largest markets.

Active in the local community, McDonnough is also the chairman for the Dallas Citizens Council and serves on a number of boards, including that of the Dallas Education Foundation, Methodist Health System, Dallas Community College, and Dallas Regional Chamber and Education Committee. Additionally, he sits on the development board for the University of Texas at Dallas and serves on the CEO Advisory Council for the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Society.

“Successful companies thrive when they have a strong, experienced board of directors,” said ORIX USA Chairman, President and CEO Hideto Nishitani. “We’re fortunate to have the opportunity to add Clint as part of our board of directors.”
