ORIX USA’s Infrastructure and Public Finance team has completed a $20.66 million special assessment receivables purchase within Lakeside Meadows Public Improvement District, a mixed-use development located in Pflugerville, TX, roughly 20 miles northeast of Austin, developed by Kerby Ventures. This investment covers 11 parcels comprised of single-family, multifamily, senior-living, industrial, and mixed office/retail. ORIX USA and Kerby Ventures worked alongside to create a simple and unique receivables purchase structure that will reimburse the developer for crucial infrastructure investments including roads, water, and sewer systems needed to make the mixed-use development possible.
