ORIX USA, a diversified financial services company, today announced the promotion of Paul Wilson to Chief Financial Officer.
Wilson joined the ORIX USA Finance and Accounting department in 2004 as the company’s Tax Director. In December 2013, he was promoted to Chief Accounting Officer in charge of overseeing all of the company’s financial disciplines, including financial controls, treasury, tax, financial planning and financial reporting to the parent company, ORIX Corporation. Recently, his role expanded to include diversification of financial resources.
“Paul has been a hardworking member of ORIX’s management team, and he has been an invaluable contributor to our success over the years,” said ORIX USA Chairman, President and CEO Hideto Nishitani. “Paul’s knowledge and expertise will be crucial as ORIX USA continues to develop its future business strategies.”
Before joining ORIX USA, Wilson spent 11 years in Big Four public accounting with a focus on serving clients in the financial services, real estate, healthcare and energy industries.
“As ORIX evolves, it’s crucial to have someone with a strong vision for our financial strategy leading our growing company. We’re positioned for greater opportunities with Paul at the helm of our financial team,” Nishitani added.
A certified public accountant, Wilson earned a bachelor’s and master’s degree from Baylor University. Outside of work, he serves on the Boards of the ORIX Foundation and the Retina Foundation.
