Charlie Gilroy is Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer of the Asset Management business of ORIX Corporation USA, responsible for overseeing the buildout and operations of the asset management platform. Mr. Gilroy is a member of ORIX USA’s Management Committee and Asset Management Investment and Oversight Committee. He joined the firm in 2020 and is based in New York.
Mr. Gilroy has more than 30 years of leadership experience in financial services, with a focus on building and directing investment operations, capital raising, risk management and governance for investment management firms. Prior to joining ORIX USA, Mr. Gilroy was President and Chief Operating Officer for Exelauno Capital Management and was a Member of the Board of Advisors for Double N Advisors, LLC. Previously, Mr. Gilroy spent 12 years at Paloma Partners, where he was a Managing Director and member of the Executive and Operating Committees. He also held senior management positions at Bolton LP, Pia Capital Management and Twinfields Holding LLC.
Mr. Gilroy earned a BBA in Finance from Pace University, Lubin School of Business.
