Brandon Corcoran is a Director in the Corporate Development and Strategic Opportunities business at ORIX Corporation USA, focused on strategic M&A transactions. He joined the firm in 2015 and is based in Dallas.
Since joining ORIX USA, Mr. Corcoran has been involved in the acquisition of key subsidiaries of the firm, including NXT Capital, Boston Financial, and Lument (F.K.A. Hunt Real Estate and Lancaster Pollard). Mr. Corcoran’s deal expertise has directly contributed to more than $5 billion of equity capital deployed across ORIX USA’s private equity, private credit, and principal investment strategies.
Prior to joining ORIX USA, Mr. Corcoran spent two years in PricewaterhouseCoopers’ (PwC) Transaction Services practice specializing in capital markets and accounting advisory services, where he assisted Fortune 100 companies with capital transactions spanning acquisitions, divestitures, private debt offerings, IPOs and spinouts.
Mr. Corcoran graduated magna cum laude from Texas Christian University with a BBA and a Master’s degree in Accounting and is currently pursuing an MLA in Sustainability at Harvard Extension School. He was selected as a 2022 Fellow for the Clean Energy Leadership Institute and retains his Certified Public Accountant license in Texas.
