Christoph Wessel is an Associate Director in the Credit Opportunities group at ORIX Corporation USA, responsible for originating, underwriting, executing, and monitoring investments for the firm. He joined the firm in 2021 and is based in New York.
Mr. Wessel has over eight years of experience in private and public credit markets. Preceding his current role, he was an investment professional at Medley Management within the Direct Lending and Restructuring groups. Prior to that, Mr. Wessel served as a Credit Rating Analyst at Moody’s Investors Service in both the U.S. and Europe.
Mr. Wessel holds an MA in International Business from Munich Business School, MS in Finance from Florida International University, and a BS in Management & Economics from Ruhr University Bochum.
