David Gilliand is Managing Director for ORIX Corporation USA’s Municipal & Infrastructure business, focused on both public market and private credit opportunities. He rejoined the firm in 2022 and is based in Dallas.
Prior to joining ORIX USA, he worked in public finance at PNC Investments, and served as a high-yield analyst for Merrill Lynch Asset Management (now Blackrock), Head of Municipal Credit for UBS, and as Chief Municipal Credit Strategist for Goldman Sachs.
Mr. Gilliand holds a BBA from the University of Kansas, an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University and is a CFA® charterholder.
